Page content: The content of the web page you are viewing is sent to our server only when you click the generate button. We do not automatically collect your browsing history.
Generated comments: The comments you generate are stored in your account history.
Promotion materials: The promotion content (ads) you create.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information solely for the purpose of providing and improving the GenieComment extension service, including:

Generating AI-powered comments based on page content
Storing your history and preferences for a better user experience
Managing your subscription and usage limits

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on our secure servers. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information. Passwords are hashed using BCrypt. We do not share your personal data with third parties.

4. Data Retention

We retain your account information and generated content for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your data within a reasonable timeframe. You can delete individual comments and history records at any time.

5. Third-Party Services

GenieComment uses AI model APIs from third-party providers (such as DeepSeek) to generate comments. When you generate a comment, the page content and generation parameters are sent to the AI provider for processing. We do not control how these providers process data beyond their own privacy policies.
